Specific Area of Interest or Focus

Initially as an Nurse Practitioner I worked in primary care for 7 years, then deciding I wanted to work in a specialty. In late 2005 I came to work in GI as SDMG where I found my niche; my interest in GI has never left. I’ve worked over 23 years in GI. I was able to do an internship with an international hepatologist and infectious disease physician in Buffalo which was the most interesting and rewarding experience of my life! I have treated many patients with Hepatitis C which is a major interest of mine to contribute to the eradication of this disease by 2035.

Personal Information

Married with 2 children, 2 grandchildren, 3 dogs. Love to travel, especially to the Caribbean with my husband and family.
